Summer.
We are off to a great summer of flavors, weddings, and TX tomatoes!
Last night we celebrated the opening of a community garden in Richardson: The Eden Project. We put together some burgers, summer corn and tomato salad, veggie chips, and frozen fruit bars for the eager gardeners and their friends. It is exciting to see the people connect over something as basic as growing their own food.
We look forward to having you at Food Creates Community on August 28th:
RSVP here - http://aug2010fcc.eventbrite.com/
We will be back from a culinary trip to Europe, so come enjoy the bounty of late summer in TX. 50 a person - BYOB

Darina Allen / White Rock Market
Have you heard the story of Darina Allen? Here you are: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/31/dining/31Irish.html?ref=dining
Also, have you attended the White Rock Market on Saturday mornings?
My friend Ryan Smith is creating wonderful espresso drinks at the Green Spot on Saturday mornings, his brews often sourced from Oak Cliff Roasters are sure to entice.
Cheers.
